Seller Dashboard
Objective
With the objective of expanding NTWRK’s marketplace, the NTWRK Selling Initiative was launched with the goals of platform self-containment and unlocking a new subset of sellers. Prior to this initiative, prospective sellers were required to apply through a third party and already have an existing Shopify store, creating a significant barrier to entry. Additionally, before Seller Dashboard, products could only be sold on NTWRK if they were added to a show, further limiting the marketplace. As a result, Seller Dashboard’s objective became a major undertaking: to improve the entire process of who sells, what is sold, and how products are sold on NTWRK.
Process
The process began with detailed discovery and user research focused on the end-to-end seller journey—from application through order fulfillment. This research revealed that the existing flow was both flawed and unscalable, making a complete overhaul necessary. Working closely with my project managers, we defined 18 MVP initiatives with detailed product requirements, which I fully designed and handed off to engineering. Each initiative required user research, engineering collaboration, stakeholder reviews, and user acceptance testing to reach completion.
Outcome
Following a successful beta, Seller Dashboard officially launched and succeeded in increasing the number of sellers on the platform while reducing reliance on third-party tools, including Shopify. The depth of research conducted to understand seller needs resulted in seamless, intuitive designs that guide users through the entire selling process, enabling seller success on NTWRK.
